Cambodia

Back on the plane again from Chiang Mai. One plane to bangkok and then on to Siem Reap.
Caleb was so happy to find an English Kids book at Chiang Mai airport.  He read it at every chance and was finished it by the time we got to Bangkok.

Blake was entertained by the Gruffalo on his Samsung.

Caleb still clutching his book.

At bangkok airport we got some food to eat. The boys got two very disgusting Ninja Turtle donuts - neither of them at much of them, but both had Fluro Green Poo the next day.

I had read

We found some nice lunch and we noticed they did pottery classes.

So mummy and Caleb went off in the afternoon to do some pottery.

We got to make three pots with some help from a guy, and then we picked one to get fired and keep.

Caleb was much better than Mum who kept sabotaging the pottery with her long nails :)

We had some Amok for lunch.  It was much like a curry and very yummy. Served in a coconut.

We heard about this place that has a play area for kids and people(nannies they call them) to play with them and watch them.

And for a bonus they served the best hamburgers ever.
Derryn went for the big burger and boy was it BIG
He decided to tackle it in two parts...
And finished every last bite...

The boys burgers even tasted amazing.
And they had lots of fun playing.

While we were there there was a torrential downpour of rain which made the tuk tuk drive home interesting.

Caleb and I were waiting for a mammoth splash from other trucks but were lucky to avoid it.

And we got back for a beer - note the old school ring pulls on the beer..

Cambodia was great for the temples and that was about it!!! Back to thailand quick or us (Angkor post to follow soon)
